pepperpot504I'm writing a quick post to let you all know we've made it to our evacuation spot here in Panama City Beach! I am honestly surprised it took 9 hours to get here since I thought it'd be longer than that.
What helps is that we took back roads which helped.
As grateful as I am to be here I am thinking of those that can't afford to flee and will be facing a cat 5 hurricane! Granted there is talk about a wind shear making it weaker but this is still going to be a monster.
Anyways gonna sign off since it's a been a Looooong day!
