pepperpot504I should go ahead and use the Friday icon since it is Friday today.
Wow, it is so hard to believe that a week ago I was having a normal day but heard whisperings about a system in the Gulf . I remember debating filling up the car but decided to go ahead and do that which turned out to be a good idea.
Anyways yesterday I took care of the laundry here at the hotel laundromat which made things convenient. After that I had a impromptu tea time with my sister over the phone. I did find out she did see the news.
Ugh..
Pam (caretaker) told her I was safe and she was happy so that was good.
Later on hubby and I went out to dinner at a local chain which was good. When we came back I encountered my WTF moment..
I overhead a conversation between two people and one person was surprised to find out that Ireland is separated in two countries! Ummm what?
She said she never heard that before..
Gave us a chuckle.
Meanwhile after dinner we watched MST3k on youtube but started to nod off. I probably needed that sleep to be honest.
Anyways got a couple of more days here. In the original plan we were going to leave today but hubby has to be on hand for some work stuff. So we're staying until Sunday since this place has power. I don't know about our place yet and hope all is okay with it.
Maybe tomorrow we can go somewhere for a walk.. we shall see.
